Our White Beeswax Beads are cosmetic grade beeswax that have been bleached and filtered to remove any impurities, then shaped into small pellets for easy use. These Beeswax Beads are 100% natural and are refined through physical processes. The natural wax is melted and filtered through active carbon to remove its scent and color, which may vary from white to off-white. These beads are then used in formulations where a cream base or end product is fragrance-free and white in color, but to which color and fragrance can later be added.
Beeswax Beads can be used in lotions, creams, balms, body butter and even soaps. They provide body and stiffness to formulations and assist as an incomplete emulsifier or thickener.
For candle making, natural beeswax burns cleaner and longer than petroleum-based paraffin waxes. It does not smoke as with petroleum-based paraffin. Made of 100% pure refined beeswax, this slow-burning wax is preferred when making aromatherapy-grade candles.
Caution: The melting point of this wax is between 62° and 67° C (143° to 152° F). Overheating this will impact its scent and color. Please melt at as low a heat as possible while stirring gently, and use it as soon as it is melted, as it will cook and render poor-quality results such as a cooked or burnt odor, and off-white color.

Rating: I've used both the beads and the solid block. I do find the beads a little easier to work with and easier to measure out. There was a slight smell as others have mentioned but I don't find it's affected any of my final products.

Rating: Not sure if it's just my order but the one I got has this weird smell. I tried to add some essential oil but the smell is strong to cover up.
Rating: This beeswax makes excellent lotion bars, lip balms, and salves. It is easy to use, the beads means that the formula melts much faster than blocks or cubes. My lip balms come out a very nice slightly off white colour and very appealing to both men and women. The ease of use, quality, and physical properties of this product are overall excellent.

Rating: Bought these for the simplicity of the beads instead of having to cut off chunks from the blocks. It works very well and was easier to work with than I had anticipated.

Rating: Great product for making an eczema salve, however I was surprised it was made in China and then was a little leary as I personally have not had much luck with China products, however this one seemed to work out.

Rating: This product was super easy to use. Melted wonderfully. I used it to make a headache reliever and some lip balm.
Rating: I used these in my first attempt at lip balms and was really happy with the results. The bead format made them really easy and quick to melt down and it didn't have too strong of a scent. Exactly what I needed.
Rating: Easy to use, and very convenient for melting and measuring.

Rating: It's not very often I'm not happy with an NDA product, but the candles I made with them are the worst ever!
Maybe the wax is fine for balms, etc - but the candles smell like burnt rubber when you blow them out - and the EO scent all but disappeared.
I will stick with Soy wax for candles in future - they always turn out perfect!

Rating: What's to be said that hasn't already been said? These are perfect for use in all of my products - and super convenient due to them being in bead form. Love them.

Rating: I love the convenience and how easy it is to work with bee wax beads. However, I must admit I feel slightly wary about the product being made in china though.

Rating: I used some of my friend's yellow beeswax from NDA, and found it way too sickly-sweet smelling. Unfortunately, this one has the same smell - maybe a little less than the yellow wax, but still very prominent. Nothing I add can mask or lessen that beeswax smell. It melts okay, it does a great job solidifying bars and lip balms, but I can't get over the smell. I hope to find a wax that is odorless, but with the same general properties.

Rating: I've never used beeswax before, so I guess it was very easy to use- the beads melt fairly quickly and I like the convienience of it- I'm not that thrilled that the product is made in china- I didn't see that anywhere on the product info, or maybe I just missed it... But my lotion bars turned out nicely!
Rating: This is a great product, there is no smell, they go along ways, and are great in my hand lotions.

Rating: I had always used yellow beeswax. I liked using this one in my balms, as a change, and to get very white creams. Excellent product. So easy to use.
J'avais toujours utilisé la cire d'abeille jaune, mais je voulais avoir un produit dont la couleur ne teinte pas une crème ou un baume. Et j'ai trouvé. Excellent produit... et pas de perte de temps.
