FEATURES AND BENEFITS
Formulation-Ready Neutrality: Rosehip Cosmetic Grade Oil is cold pressed and refined for seamless integration in personal care product development. With its pale-yellow color and low odor, this carrier oil is a clean, neutral base that is compatible with actives, fragrances, and color-sensitive formulas.
Lightweight, Dry Finish: Known as a “dry oil,” Rosehip Oil absorbs quickly and leaves no greasy residue. Its fast-absorbing nature makes it an excellent choice for light emulsions, facial oils, and body treatments.
Gentle Skin Conditioner: This cosmetic grade variety of Rosehip Oil is believed to improve skin texture, tone, and hydrate the skin without feeling heavy or tacky. Suitable for sensitive, oily, and breakout-prone skin types.
Hair and Scalp Nourishment: Refined Rosehip Oil’s light viscosity is suitable for hair and scalp formulations, where it helps condition strands, support manageability, and alleviate flaky scalp without buildup.
DESCRIPTION
Rosehip Cosmetic Grade Oil – Refined is a cold pressed carrier oil derived from the seeds of wild rose species, including Rosa canina, Rosa rubiginosa, Rosa eglanteria, and Rosa moschata. This refined variety is sourced primarily from Chile, where rosehips, the reddish-orange fruits left behind after roses bloom, are harvested for their nutrient-rich seeds.
This refined variety of Rosehip Oil has been processed to remove any strong scents and deep colorations. The result is a high-performance oil that delivers many of the same skin-conditioning benefits while maintaining a more neutral and formulation-friendly profile.
Used widely by manufacturers and formulators, Rosehip Cosmetic Grade Oil is prized for its high levels of essential fatty acids, especially Linoleic and Linolenic Acids, which help maintain skin softness and flexibility. Its light consistency and rapid absorption also make it well-suited for face, body, and hair care products aimed at smooth, non-greasy performance.
DIRECTIONS AND SUGGESTED USAGE
- Facial Serums & Emulsions: Use Rosehip Cosmetic Grade Oil at 3–10% in serums, under-eye creams, or light moisturizers. Excellent for non-comedogenic formulations that focus on hydration and even skin tone.
- Hair & Scalp Treatments: Add 2–8% to conditioning treatments, scalp oils, or leave-in serums to enhance spreadability and slip without excess weight.
- Body Oils & Massage Blends: For body care formulations such as massage oils, after-shower treatments, or skin-conditioning lotions, 5–50% Refined Rosehip Oil is recommended.
