Product Abstract: The Tea Tree is a small tree or shrub with needle-like leaves. It is also domestically referred to as Ti-Tree. It can grow up to 7 meters (20 feet) in height and thrives in marshy areas, though it is now cultivated in plantations. The aboriginal people of Australia have long used Tea tree Oil. Historically, the leaves were used as a substitute for tea, which is how it got its name. In World War II, the producers and the cutters of Tea Tree were exempt from military service until enough essential oil had been accumulated to accommodate the military's needs. Tea Tree is very robust and is ready for cutting only two years after its previous harvest. As Essential Oils have become more accepted by the public, the use of Tea Tree Oil has increased significantly. This is readily seen in the commercial products now using Tea Tree, although this grade is best used for therapeutic applications. This is one of the very few Essential Oils that can be applied to the skin 'neat', or without dilution, at a maximum rate of 3 drops.
Cautions: Dilute before use; for external use only. May cause skin irritation in some individuals; a skin test is recommended prior to use. Contact with eyes should be avoided.
Storage: It is recommended that oils packaged in metal containers (for safe shipping), be transferred into dark glass containers to maintain freshness and attain maximum shelf life.

Rating: I just love this product. The price is amazing and I use it full strength daily on my oily, congested complexion and it helps my skin so much. everyone compliments me how much better my skin looks. If u have sensitive skin maybe it would be better diluted but if you have oily skin like me please try this every evening undiluted using a cotton ball. I also use it in my body butter and no more eczema , pimples, or razor rash. I cannot emphasize how much I love this tea tree oil and not having to pay $20 for 30 ml at the store. Also my rescue dog gets skin allergies and I use this diluted in avacado oil and it healed her skin nicely.

Rating: One of my favourite essential oils!! Exceptional quality at an exceptional price!! A friend of mine gave me some oils including this one as a gift from here and I just had to purchase it for myself. The quality and the price point is just outstanding! Will be purchasing more from NDA! Keep up the good quality and the low prices and you'll have me and my family as life Long costumers!
Rating: Amazing product for many antifungal treatments. This one is strong, but the smell is more timid than the pungent solvent-like scents that many local brands have. It also is great for strengthening the hair follicle for male and female pattern balding, but be sure to have a proper a balance of moisturizing products because all tea tree oils tend to be a strong drying agent.

Rating: You can never go wrong with Tea tree Australian oil. If you do not know what to buy or which ones, you can never go wrong with this one. Tea tree is what we use to disinfect tools or hands. You can also put it in a foot bath or scalp for head massage. Tea tree is a most have. Tea tree is one of the only oil you can put directly on skin. I love it, it is perfect. Smell is great! Thank you.
Rating: To be clear, I use tea tree oil for everything from skincare to cleaning my shower grout. Like everything else on ND, I am floored by the price points, and the quality of the oils. I will be ordering another (larger) bottle of this shortly.

Rating: Ahh yes tea tree oil :) not the best smell !! but as the old saying goes the worst the smell, the worst the taste the better it works, did I taste it ?? Nope
I think oils work just as good if not better to apply external using carrier oils and common sense, great oil very effective on skin rashes
Rating: I don't like the smell of tea-tree, so am reviewing this as objectively as I can :) Great in products, and nice blended with peppermint or eucalyptus. Love what it does, and this seems like a really good quality oil.

Rating: I use the tea tree oil to make a soothing lotion for bug bites, as well as for heat rashes. We have been using both consistently since spring, and the entire family loves it! My daughter uses it to get rid of any critters the dog drags in, and she says the smell assures her that the house is clean. I give this oil a 5 star rating, as the quality is fantastic and the price can't be beat!

Rating: I use this EO in my acne face soap (CP) or straight on a q tip for an overnight zip zapper!
By:Jessica, Pointe Claire, Quebec Top ReviewerDate: Loyal Customer Since: 25-Oct-2013
Rating: This EO is amazing! I have purchased a big bottle to replace the one that I have from another company as this one is so much better! Have used it in many different applications e.g. bug spray, hand cleanser, scrubs, cleaning products etc. Very happy with this EO!
Rating: I would like to know what the different between this Tea Tree vs the other Tea Tree EOs there are besides price. This one works really well in CP soaps, and great to use for a face soap for those who have acne or oily skin. I also used a few drops added in a mask. Strong scent and may accelerate trace in CP soaps

Rating: I thought I hated Tea Tree until I tried this one. It's got a bit of what I could only call ocean smell. A great pest deterrent as well.

Rating: This is a medicine cabinet must. Good for children and pets also. A bit strong applied neat, but necessary for any cuts, bruises, insect bites or blemishes. Dries up skin eruptions overnight. At the NDA prices, buy as much as you can and use it for laundry and cleaning. It is my favourite amongst the other choices.

Rating: I have been using this oil for a variety of applications from the time I received it! Disinfecting in the kitchen, wound treatment, blemish blaster, flu and cold fighter - it's been my go-to oil! I will be ordering again in no time and will be happy to do so!

Rating: I don't like the smell of Tea Tree oil, but it's uses are so versatile, as pointed out by other reviewers. My children don't scream and cry from the application of hydrogen peroxide anymore, because I've found a perfectly natural and painless way to help aid in healing their roadrash (summer is here!). Thanks NDA.... I'll purchase this again and again.

Rating: Very happy with this oil. I used this oil for medical purpose. My son had tinea versy color. I used tea tree oil 3 spoons, 2 spoons of spike lavanda (spenish) and 1 spoon of rusmarin. I mixed very well. It was painful for him
since dried his skin but dermatologist said no more tinea versy color. The pils could not help him in this but these oils did. Lot of pain and redness but 100% outcome in curing tinea versy color. We use coconot oil and almond oil for dry eczema and it is better then gel that he got from doc.
Rating: This oil is a strong smelling oil, but is not at all nauseating and I am amazed at the benefits of this oil. Apply a single drop to a skin blemish and tadah! No more blemish. Thanks ND for the varieties and information offered on your oils.

Rating: this oil is AMAZING...i use it in a blend with lavender, grapefruit, rosemary, and orange essential oil with witch hazel and vodka (yes, vodka) as a toner. it very effectively removes excess residue after cleansing and appears to shink pores after swiping across with a cotton pad. i also steam my face with a couple drops of tea tree and use as a spot treatment with great results... thank you NDA for these great oils at affordable prices!!!
Rating: Great quality oil, clean with an almost natural 'chlorinated' smell.

Rating: A great EO for a great price. I've used it in facial masks, OCM mixes, and after sun lotion. I've found I really like it with some French lavender and rosemary, for both the scent and the healing benefits.

Rating: Excellent quality! I use this for many things - gargle with it for sore throats, put on cuts, pimples, etc. I also mixed 60 drops with 15 ml emulsifier and 4 oz water as a spray for my sister to spray in my young nieces hair to repel lice - as lice goes around the day care she goes to now and again.

Rating: Have tried Tea Tree oil in a base cream and it has a very nice effect to it --- it's very soothing, and it actually "whitens" or brightens the complexion somewhat.

Rating: The tea tree essential oil is well packaged and of a great quality. It's excellent in soap/cream/lotion making.
The only suggestion I would like to make is to add an expiry date to all oil labels.
Rating: I have used tea tree oil for a very long time, and the quality of the NDA offering is superb. We use it almost exclusively for wound care, but have also used it for hair care, disinfecting sick rooms, and household cleaning. It's a staple in our first aid kits (the 2ml vials offered under the Bottles & Jars tab are superb for this purpose!)

Rating: Besides Lavender, Tea Tree is probably the most useful oil in all of the essential oils. It is a definite MUST HAVE for any aromatherapist. And especially for one just starting out. The properties are many and this oil does not have to be diluted everytime it is used as most E.O.s are. It can be used neat. But still should be diluted as it could cause sensitization in some. It is a most versatile Australian oil and is claimed by some to be a medicine chest in a bottle. It is non-toxic and non-irritant but with possible sensitization in some individuals. Use for abrasions, abscesses, acne, antiseptic, athlete's foot, blisters, burns, cold sores, cuts, head lice, insect bites, laundry antiseptic, nappy rash, scalds, septic wounds, thrush, etc. Also known as Melasol, Narrow-Leaved Paperbark Tea Tree, Ti-Tree, Ti-Trol.
