Rating: I purchased Neem oil as it makes wonders for oily /acne skin. And I was not disappointed! It would clear my complexion quickly, just after a few days of using it. It's quite strong though, not to be used neat but diluted with other carrier oils. I've blended at 10% with jojoba and it's superb. Blending also tones down the strong smell, but unfortunately not by much...
Note that this oil is likely to solidify to a thick gel consistency in colder months. As it's heavier than other carrier oils, it can also precipitate but you can give the bottle a quick shake before using.
Rating: I bought this for a soap experiment.
So I grew up in Africa and this plant was the "magic" cure for all during my childhood days.
Upon opening the bottle the memory of my sickly day flashed before my eyes... only a little stronger.
My experiment was to make a CP soap with at least 40% of the oils for acne, sentive and problematic skins.
The soap is still curing, but so far I am slowly adjusting to the smell and cant wait for next week so I can get to use it and see the results it will have.

Rating: I just bought this oil for the first time to use in my hair masks and beauty oil. I was expecting it to smell. Well I think it smells fine. It reminds of the forest in late fall when everything is getting ready to go dormant. I like natural scents of plants for me it is fine without scents, however you can add essential oils to mask the earthy smell. I like how fast it absorbs in my skin. I am very happy with this oil. I love the fair value too. Please keep it up New Directions Aromatics!

Rating: I cannot say enough good things about this life-saver. I suffer from extreme seborrhea dermatitis and this has been better than any medicated treatment and any other oil treatment on its own. The smell isn't as bad as some people say it is and it really just smells like a strong olive-like fruit. I actually love the smell and I blend it with some coconut oil, rosemary EO, lavender EO, and tea tree EO. I think it's even adding to my hair's growth because it's so nutritious for scalp and skin!

Rating: The stench of this oil is beyond words! I have yet to find any combination that covers the smell. It will remain in my cupboard until next gardening season for insects. I think I'll try spraying it around the garbage to keep the raccoons' away.

Rating: This is a great carrier oil for those with acne issues! My customers love it. The smell is a little bit off-putting, however, just add some essential oils and it is easily "covered up" lavender seems to work quite well. ;) I really like the results with this oil. And I will continue to use it. Thank you!

Rating: Purchased the large bottle of this Neem oil and I am so glad that I did! My key ingredient in my body butters for problem skin, and it is one of my top sellers! Yes the scent is nothing to rave about, but the outcome and benefits of this oil outweigh the scent. This oil is a definite must have.

Rating: I mix 1 tablespoon of neem carrier oil with 1 tablespoon of liquid soap and a gallon of water to kill spider mites in my greenhouse. Adding 10 drops of rosemary oil and 10 drops of clove oil also kills spider mite eggs and leaves a wonderful smell.

Rating: In India, Neem is valued for its antiseptic properties (hair and skin). Adding neem leaves in hot bath water for a soak helps relieve body ache too especially after illness. The list of its benefits is truly endless. I use this in hair oil (dark hair....am unsure how it works for any other hair type) by adding a bit of Neem oil to regular coconut oil - a little goes a long way.

Rating: They weren't kidding when they said the scent is strong and pungent. I like it though, the smell reduces after a short time and the healing benefits are amazing for problem skin

Rating: Used this oil to control grubs and white flies in my garden. What a success! I'm now going to experiment with other uses for this oil!
Rating: Amazing stuff, great price. Excellent addition to soap for people with skin problems. Also, besides all the amazing properties listed above, neem is a fantastic, non-toxic ant repellent. Just mix a little with some water and rubbing alcohol, put in a spray bottle and use it anywhere that you have ants invading. Or just paint a line of neem oil with your finger and the ants will never cross it again.

Rating: When i first smelt this oil it was stinky but not as bad as some people have described it to be. However the smell just does not dissipate and can be nauseating after a while. That being said, the healing properties are AMAZING that i can deal with the stench. It is defiantly is not something i would use before leaving the house. Tea tree oil used to be my miracle oil, not anymore! Neem oil has so many uses it is a must have for everyone!
Rating: Feels good on the face and hands; I like adding small amounts to my favourite lotion and then massaging it into my skin. Smells good too if you like nuts and nut smells like I do :). Neem oil is also reputed to repel spiders (HALLELUJAH!!!) and other insects.

Rating: Use the strong, almost meaty odour of neem with food-y essential oils like cardamon, tumeric, davana, curry and so forth. solid at room temperature, it can be made liquid by putting the glass jar in a bath of hot water.
