Product Rating: 4.6/5 (As per 16 Customer Reviews)
This product is a Sorbaitan Monolaurate (Polysorbates) that has been ethoxylated with approximately 20 moles of ethlene oxide to produce a water soluble, oil and water emulsifier. Solubilizer can also be used as a wetting agent, viscosity modifier, anti-stat, stabilizer and dispersing agent. It is the final ingredient necessary when combining fragrance oil with water-based products like baby shampoo because of very low eye irritation, body wash, toiletries, cosmetics, and ointments. It is perfect for keeping the product clear and un-cloudy & prevents any separation of the oils or fragrance. Mix 1 part essential oil or fragrance to 1 part Solubilizer, blend, and then add to your product and it will retain its glass like clarity.
INCI: Polysorbate 20
Shelf Life: Solubilizer has a shelf-life of up to one year from date of manufacturing.

Rating: I love this product! I use it for my room sprays and it perfectly blends the essential oils with water and leaves the solution clear. For those having issues with the solution being cloudy, I had this problem too, as I originally followed the NDA recommended ratio of 1:1 for solubilizer and essential oils, however, after a little research and trials I learned that this should be closer to 10:1 (Solubilizer: Essential Oils). I did tests with solutions from 5:1, 6:1, 8:1, and 10:1, I found the solutions started to get cloudy around 6:1, but anything above left it crystal clear. Hope this helps.
Rating: I use 10% of Polysorbate 20 to make my make-up remover oil. I rub my dry face with the oil first and rinse with water, and it emulsifies and cleanses well. I hope NDA can offer smaller size. 1KG is too much for personal use.

Rating: I used this to make a lemon cleaner it works well while using but I find after a while it still seem to get some separation but just a quick shake its fine while im using it, also made it a very milky white

Rating: Seems to work well to solubilize EOs (equal parts EOs and solubilizer), but once I blended with witch hazel (90% of the total), I too had a cloudy, milk-colored solution which thickened considerably. I can still use it, but it does look odd, and I wonder if the "reaction" has changed the properties of the essential oils?

Rating: Works but does make product cloudy. I mixed 10% EO's with distilled water for a room and linen spray and it turned milky white. The description says it will keep it un-cloudy with glass like clarity.

Rating: Used this Polysorbate 20 in my pet bug spray. I tried various methods to disperse the essential oils in water and kept finding that they floated to
the surface so the atomizer wasn't really expelling the oils as a uniform emulsion. The Polysorbate immediately sorted the problem out! I shall be ordering more. Just one word of caution; In a facial toner recipe it appeared to react with aloe vera when I added the essential oil /Polysorbate mix...so clearly always try out a recipe in a small quantity first!

Rating: Can't believe how or why I never used this before - it's indispensable for mixing oils and water. Made a linen spray using this with Lavender 40/42 Nature Identical EO...wow. Yes, it did turn milky (opaque) but this wasn't a problem.
Quite thick and so, a bit difficult to measure/pour out small quantities - I've found it easier to store in a smaller squeeze bottle (mine came in a heavy, glass bottle).

Rating: Glad I found this. I have been using it to make body and rooms sprays. It more cost effective than anything I have bought anywhere else.
Rating: This mixes so easily with EO's and adding distilled water to make wonderful room sprays. The end product is not crystal clear but almost like it's in a frosted bottle even though the bottle is clear. I don't mind that but I think I'll try adding a touch of dye to see how it looks.

Rating: I had to use a dropper that I buy at a store because it was hard to get it out of that little hole, but you can pour it out.Maybe I use it wrong lol.It is like a thick liquid.I love this.It combines well with my other emulsifier.
Rating: Great product for blending oils with water.
