Whipped to a light, spreadable texture, Orange Butter features a soft yellow-orange hue and a fresh citrus scent. Lightweight yet deeply moisturizing, it’s ideal for creams, massage blends, and melt-and-pour soaps.
Use it on its own to hydrate dry areas like hands, feet, and legs, or blend it into your favorite creations for added smoothness, a naturally fruity finish, and the aromatic benefits of orange essential oil.
Please note: Like many citrus-based ingredients, Orange Butter may increase sensitivity to sunlight. We recommend avoiding use on areas that will be directly exposed to the sun
DIRECTIONS AND SUGGESTED USAGE
- Citrus Cream Dream: Use Orange Butter at 2–20% to bring the benefits of orange peel oil into your lotions and creams. Warm gently until soft, then blend into your base. For a smooth, even finish, mix thoroughly with an immersion blender or mixer. As always, patch test before full application.
- Brighten Your Balms: Use up to 100% on its own, or blend Orange Butter with other natural oils and butters to create rich balms and massage butters. A little goes a long way toward soft, glowing skin.
- Sunshine Suds: Add Orange Butter at 5–20% to cold process or melt-and-pour soaps to boost moisturization and add a subtle citrus note. Start with small test batches to perfect your formula and scent throw before scaling up.
- Naturally Soft Hair: Use Orange Butter at 1–10% in conditioners, masks, or styling butters to soften strands, tame frizz, and add a light citrus lift.
