Product Abstract: Citronella Oil is extracted from a resilient grass native to Sri Lanka and Java. It is a very aromatic perennial that grows approximately 1 meter (3 feet) in height. It is often used in combination with Cedarwood to produce pleasant-smelling patio candles and torches.
Cautions: Dilute before use; for external use only. May cause skin irritation in some individuals, and should be avoided by those allergic to ragweed; a skin test is recommended prior to use, and contact with eyes should be avoided.
Storage: It is recommended that oils packaged in metal containers (for safe shipping), be transferred into dark glass containers to maintain freshness and attain maximum shelf life.

Rating: My favorite for making any outdoor product like insect repellents and I have even used it in a lotion bar with lemongrass, smells great. A very useful EO to have on hand.

Rating: I'll use this in a cooling spray for summer to keep bugs away, but for now I'm loving the scent in candles which I might even try bringing outdoors once summer hits. Thanks NDA for the great price too

Rating: Very citrusy but not juicy smelling or yummy smelling. Can't describe it, it just smells citrusy and it smells like natural insect repellent spray. I like it, I will use it during the summer when I go outdoors. I have lots of NDA essential oils for soap making, this one I will not use until summer comes.

Rating: Very pleased with this FO - light and refreshing - I used it in candles - seems to work to repel bugs. Most candles ive notice contain only about 1% citronella. No wonder they dont work. Great plus - will order again. Thanks!

Rating: Tried to use it this summer in diffuser for insect repellant but it was not effective. Plan on making a lotion or spray that may work better. Good price though.
Rating: It's very easy to make a all natural and effective insect repellant with this eo. Great for outdoor enthusiasts.

Rating: I really liked this citronella oil. its smell was pleasant, if you like the smell of citronella. i used it in my "bug spray" and it went over very well with the rest of the cottagers this summer.
I will definately buy more when i'm done as i have a long list of people who want their own bottle of "bug spray" for next year!

Rating: I would highly recommend this Citronella both for quality as well as for the price point. The strong heady aroma not only works exceptionally well with insect repellant products but as many other uses.
