Product Abstract: A perennial, reed-like herb, Cardamom grows wild and is cultivated in India and Sri Lanka. It grows up to 4 meters (13 feet) and has long green silky blades, small yellowy flowers, with a violet tip, and a large fleshy rhizome, similar to ginger. Oblong gray fruits follow the flowers, each containing many seeds. Cardamom was well known in ancient times. The Egyptians used it in perfumes and incense, and the Arabs used it ground in their coffee. The seeds are an important ingredient in Middle Eastern and Asian cooking.
Cautions: Dilute before use; for external use only. May cause skin irritation in some individuals; a skin test is recommended prior to use. Contact with the eyes should be avoided.
Storage: It is recommended that oils packaged in metal containers (for safe shipping) be transferred into dark glass containers to maintain freshness and attain maximum shelf life.

Rating: Fruity-spicy and lingering. STRONG! In blends, this is the last note to lift. Very uplifting and less "foody spicy" and more "woody spicy". Warm and nuanced.

Rating: Have you ever crushed caradmom seeds in your pestil? Or spice grinder? The heady spice scent you find in this bottle will make your nose dive right in. The essential oil presented here is as fresh smelling as the real thing. I use it to blend my own diffuser blend or hair rinse. Add some cardamom, cinnamon and cedarwood with a touch of clove and you will have a chai latte scent that will drive you to madness! You can also use the cardamom on it's own for a terrific scent to fill your room with a heavenly earthy and realistic spice scent. I use it also in a lotion.

Rating: Ordered for the 1st time from NDA - 19 different items - Pick-up was swift and my order was ready in 3 days, as stated online. I opened the bottle of cardamom and just fell in love! I only purchased the sample 5mL bottle, since this was my first time and now wished I purchased more. The smell is absolutely bang on and absolutely delicious! I use cardamom a lot in tea blends and food and this EO is fantastic. Will order this again. :-)

Rating: I don't like this eo. I was expecting something truer to the spice's smell, which is a sweet, clean and almost citrus smell.

Rating: Unfortunately not as refined as the Organic Cardamom (this has a bit of a sharper smell), unbeatable for the current discounted price. Curious to see how I'll use it.

Rating: Mmm... Cardamom and Rose together in a perfume with other EOs with aphrodisiacal properties. The spicy fragrance compliments the other scents beautifully and adds a sensual and earthy element to the blend. Cardamom EO will definitely become a permanent ingredient of my perfume.
P.S. It works like magic in attracting the opposite sex. Be careful ladies!

Rating: This essential oil is very common in perfumery, used by chanel paris' retired perfumer, Mr.Beaux, in the classic scent 'chanel' pour monsieur. The scent is slightly reminiscent of apples. Very strong, good quality. The scent is not as sweet and amazing as some find to my nose. The quality is superb, and the price is fair. If you like cardamom, this is for you.

Rating: I love the spicy warming scent of cardamom, you are probably familiar with the seeds as they may be found in any supermarket spice rack. It is non-toxic and non-irritant but with possible sensitization in some individuals. Use for anorexia, colic, cramp, dyspepsia, flatulence, griping pains, halitosis, heartburn, indigestion, mental fatigue, morning sickness, nervous strain, vomiting. Also known as Cardamomi, Cardomom, Cardomum, Ellettaria cardamomum variety cardamomum, Mysore Cardomom. I love to use it for massage blends as it is a wonderful warming oil. This one is high quality and recommended for any aromatherapist.
