Our Ultra Premium Conditioner Base now has an improved formulation designed for optimal conditioning of all hair types. The conditioner is luxuriously blended with hair-loving ingredients including Shea Butter, Argan Oil, Hydrolyzed Soy Protein, and Rosemary Extract to support the healthy appearance of hair strands while improving manageability.
This cosmetic base is creamy white to allow more freedom to create your own look and fortified with exactly the right balance of high-end ingredients. Manufacturers will find it robust and easy to work with when adding Essential Oils, Fragrant Oils, Botanical Extracts, and Color.
Usage: We recommend that the total of all additives not exceed 2% of the total volume. Exceeding this amount may destabilize bonds between the ingredients. Over time this may cause our bases to lose some of their luxurious properties including viscosity, smooth feel, and rate of absorption.
Key Ingredients: Shea Butter – Rich in Oleic Acid and Vitamin E, it nourishes and enhances hair elasticity to make strands look full and be more resistant to breakage. Argan Oil – Full of hair-protective antioxidants, it replenishes lost hydration and helps safeguard tresses against environmental pollutants. Hydrolyzed Soy Protein – Deeply conditions and moisturizes hair to feel soft, smooth, and voluminous. It also minimizes flakiness and calms scalp irritations.

Rating: I bought the Ultra Premium Conditioner a few weeks ago and am so pleased with it! For me (on a fixed income) it seemed rather expensive but I thought I would treat myself and boy was it EVER a treat! I can customize it with my essential oils ( also bought at NDA) to suit my hair's needs. I make small batches and switch when needed. Don't think I will ever revert back to store bought shampoo & conditioner ever again. My hair is the healthiest it has ever been!
Rating: I have exclusively been using high-end salon shampoos and conditioners for as long as I can remember. I was therefore very sceptical about this product, but I have to say I am impressed! It’s just as good as any salon product I’ve used, at a fraction of the price. I highly recommend!

Rating: Not happy with this. Leaves hair dull, dry and tangled. Super difficult to work through my wet hair even if I've brushed it before showering! Using wayyy more than with store bought stuff. Definitely won't be buying again.
Rating: I never thought I would like a conditioner so much that doesn't break the bank and actually works for my extremely dry hair. This base is amazing, it holds a lot of scents, additives, oils and butters. It is amazing when combined with buriti oil and brazil nut oil, and sunflower extract. By far, one of the best products at ND.

Rating: Very thick and creamy, performs well, non-greasy. Rinses out nicely. However I do find it liquifies even with 1% EO added so I would recommend 0.5% at the most.

Rating: This base is great to work with and provides impressive results.
For those who have issues with thickness when transferring to bottles or from 4 gallon jug it very very easy if you heat the product it liquifies. it is at this state I add EO and extracts.
I have used both stove top and microwave with same result. Once cooled it returns to its thicker state.
I boil water in a large pot and place 4L jug - Lid OFF into the water once removed from heat, let it sit for 5 or so minutes until it starts to thin. I then transfer desired amount to pot or glass bowl and continue to heat by microwave or stove top until consistency of water. I use a funnel to transfer to bottles. Works like a charm every time.
Rating: Love this conditioner! It is right up there with the high end products you buy at the salon. For myself I have really dry damaged hair so I add a little bit of argan oil and it leaves my hair feeling amazing. My mom has really bad psoriasis on her scalp so I mix hers up with a little tea tree oil, some rosemary eo and the some fo and she loves it too!

Rating: I tried this product and found it left my hair very dry and greasy... I had to re wash my hair with my shampoo to get it silky again... If anyone has any recipes or ideas I would really appreciate it. I did add some Aloe Vera juice like someone else had.
Rating: The conditioner is another excellent ND product base. I got carried away with some actives and added up to 6% of the following extracts and EOs: chamomile and green tea; and Multifruit BSC; and lemongrass EO.
The product retains it's texture and thickness. I could not put in a narrow necked bottle; instead used a wide mouthed jar. I'll have to try another time to gently warm and liquefy the base with perhaps some aloe vera juice or distilled water. This is the only negative about the product. Otherwise, it's excellent and my hair feels wonderful and soft after using.

Rating: I feel it could use a little more detangling, but overall a great product. I just add a little oil and a bit of silk powder at it's perfect! As for getting into small neck bottles, after mixing, put it all into a zip-lock, snip the corner and pipe it into your bottles. Works great for me.

Rating: This conditioner is amazing! It leaves my matted, dry, coloured, and permed..(Yes, I said PERMED!) hair easy to comb out, and leaves my blonde locks (:)) soft and shiny. Will be purchasing more!

Rating: Amazing product! I combined it with rosemary eo, aloe vera gel juice, lavender eo as fragrance and the end product was truly awesome. The results upon using the product can be compared to those very expensive hair conditioner. I will re order again.

Rating: Great price and product. I can apply this to my scalp "without" irritation and comb through my waist length hair easily. The conditioner gets liberally applied with the addition of meadowfoam and rosemary oils. Although this conditioner on its own doesn't soften my hair (I am almost 45 - so drier hair is part of aging), it makes it manageable when wet which is another important quality I look for in a conditioner. Never stop selling this!
Rating: great conditioner! I switched from expensive commercial conditioners and will not go back! I did not add anything to it, I use as-is. I have curly hair that is dyed brown and, not only, does it does not strip color but it keeps my curls moisturized, bouncy, and shiny!

Rating: This conditioner base is amazing! The girls in our family, myself included have extremely dry hair and we have tried many products including very expensive salon products. This works equally well has high priced salon conditioners but without all the chemicals, I love this product and will re-order it again!
Rating: Being a hairstylist for the last 15 years I have to say this is the best conditioner I have ever used. Mix it with some Camillia seed oil and leave in for 10 minutes and you have a treatment for dry hair that will by far surpass any expensive professional products out there. Trust a hairstylist , when I say you have to try this product. Wow!

Rating: Very nice product and leaves hair soft, silky and shining. Blends very well with EO and carrier oils suited to repair and strengthen hair. The consistency is very thick and getting it into a bottle is a challenge. I use a zip lock bag and cut the corner out of it to dispense it into bottles or use a cake decorating bag.... and then to get it out of the bottle I put a lotion pump on the bottle.

Rating: Love this product! Our entire family had been suffering with itchy scalps when using commercial shampoo and conditioner, even one that advertised as SLS free. Mixed this base with tea tree EO, geranium EO, rosemary EO, and phytokeratin and the end product was refreshing. It took a while to get used to the conditioner, as there was not as much "slip" as with commercial products but hair became much softer and conditioned after a week or so. My hairdresser even commented on the condition of my hair. I had to start making double batches because my 14 year old son kept taking my bottle from my bathroom to his shower - it is the only conditioner he will use.
Rating: Absolutely love this conditioner. You don't need to use a lot to get great results. Definitely a product I will buy again, because on its own or with EO's it is a fantastic product.

Rating: This conditioner is great and a little bit goes a long way. Very rich and creamy with a slight scent of shea butter. Doesn't weigh down hair and I have very fine hair that can easily be weighed down. Highly recommended.

Rating: I am new unto this hobby. I love the quality of this conditioner but I am just having problem putting it on a container because of it's thickness. Can someone help me what type of bottle I should use on this or is there any technique I should know about?
Rating: I love this conditioner. It holds scent really well, and even though I've experimented with exceeding the recommended .5% additive rate on small batches, I've fount it to still hold it's consistency at 1.5% dilutions with essential oils, and leaves a lovely scent on my hair. Provides excellent conditioning as well - not too much, not too little.

Rating: It's my first time purchase from ND. This conditioner feels so nice and fresh as I mixed it with palmarosa EO. I also added a very small amount of ricebran and camellia seed oil ( total additives not more than 0.5 % as suggested ) to it as a trial but the outcome is so fabulous!
Rating: A great conditioner for long hair. Great at detangling.
I would prefer it to be available in larger sizes.
