Linalool

This constituent is also known by the names β-linalool, Linaloyl oxide, and Linalyl alcohol. It is found in plants like Lavender, Basil, Mint, Laurels, Cinnamon, and Rosewood and in citrus fruits. Due to its floral and lightly spicy scent, it is often used in hygiene products and in cleaning agents such as soaps, detergents, and shampoos.
