China is the world's largest exporter of the Peony, which is its national flower. There, it is known as fuguihua, which means the flower of "riches and honor." It is home to more than 1,000 of the approximate 1,800 cultivated species of peony flowers in the world. Peony petals extract has several uses ranging from cosmetics to cooking and medicinal practices. Other essential oils extracted from plants that are endemic to China include oils of Cinnamon, Geranium, Cumin, Thyme, Basil, and Lemongrass.
