The Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) is a global, non-profit initiative that brings together stakeholders from across the palm oil supply chain to develop and implement global standards for sustainable palm oil. Founded in 2004, the RSPO works with palm oil producers, processors, manufacturers, retailers, financial institutions, and environmental and social NGOs to transform the market and reduce the negative environmental and social impacts associated with conventional palm oil production.
