Aromatic Summary / Note / Strength of Aroma: Birch Sweet has a sweet, sharp, camphoraceous scent that is very fresh and similar to Wintergreen (smells like root beer), and is a strong top note.
Product Abstract: The Birch tree is a graceful tree about 25m high, which has a pyramidal shape while young. It has bright green leaves and a dark reddish-brown aromatic bark, which is broken into plates or patches. Native to southern Canada and southeastern USA; it now grows also in Russia and parts of Eastern Europe.
Cautions: Dilute before use; for external use only. May cause skin irritation in some individuals; a skin test is recommended prior to use. Contact with eyes should be avoided.
Storage: It is recommended that oils packaged in metal containers (for safe shipping) be transferred into dark glass containers to maintain freshness and attain maximum shelf life.

Rating: This smells exactly like Boylan's Birch Beer. It's an amazing scent on it's own but for fans of root beer, it will remind them of a soda pop. I love this scent mixed with other essential oils or all by itself. It's nostalgic for an older generation which I suspect will be good for sales when I add this to some of my products this summer.

Rating: I've bought many EOs over the years from NDA and loved them all. This Sweet Birch Oil, however, is the first item I've felt compelled to write about. This oil is AMAZING for overworked muscles and general soreness. I use it in a massage butter I amke and people are amazed by the instant relief they feel before I even get into their massage. I use it on myself, as well, and I LOVE IT!

Rating: Surprisingly a bit minty while still being slightly woodsy. Fabulous on its own, remarkable blended with other EOs. I especially love it with lavender & cedarwood:)

Rating: Nice sweet scent. When mixed with CP soap it turns soap pure white and hardens within minutes. Highly recommend it for its properties and soap results.
Rating: Amazing for muscle pain. I have to report that nightly, my husband keeps asking me to massage him with this (diluted in carrier oil). Amazing product. Amazing price. Thank-you NDA.

Rating: I tore my MCL and used it neat. It alleviated the pain and helped heal my knee twice as fast!! My husband also puts it on his shoulder neat and takes the pain immediately so that he can sleep.
Rating: I cannot wait to try this oil. I am placing this on order ASAP. I am glad that it is finally back in stock. I am looking forward to trying this oil for muscle treatment for my husband. My husband hates medicine-like smells. Wintergreen-like scent sounds great to me!

Rating: I think this oil smells like beach nut candies, but yes, i guess it smell sorta like root beer too.... but very minty!!! wonderful oil... a pain relieving oild that smells so yummy!!
