Aromatic Description:
Mild to medium coconut scent.
Note: Before adding raw butters to creams, lotions and balms, it is recommended to temper them. Gently and slowly heat the butter until liquid, and then let it cool completely. The melting point can range from 32°C to 35°C. This will improve the texture of the final product by reducing the potential for graininess.
Storage: Store Coconut Butter in a cool, dry place below 25 °C (77 °F), in an airtight container away from light and moisture. This product may liquefy above 36 °C (96.8 °F), but will re-solidify upon cooling without affecting its quality or performance.
Shelf Life: When stored properly, Coconut Butter has a shelf life of approximately 18 months.
