French Pink Clay is a combination of red and white clays. It is considered to be the mildest of all the clays and works well for normal, sensitive and mature skin types. Its unique composition includes Kaolinite, Iron, Illite, Montmorillonite and Calcite.
Appearance: Fine rose/pink colored powder.
Benefits: French Pink Clay can be used to cleanse the skin, slough off dead skin cells and to create an overall refreshed appearance. It can be used on oily or acne-prone skin. It is most widely used in cosmetic manufacturing.
Application: French Pink Clay can be used in body wraps, soap making, face masks, mineral based or cream based cleansers, face or body scrubs, cosmetics and facial powders.
Directions for Use: 5-100% in skin-care products, 1 T. / 15ml per lb. / 500g of soap.
Caution: Caution should be exercised as clays may stain fabric.
Soothing Face Mask Recipe:
Combine 1 oz of clay to 3 tbsp of water, add 1 tsp of jojoba oil and 2 drops of chamomile essential oil to form a paste. Apply to the skin and leave for about 10 minutes and wash off with warm water. Floral water or aloe vera gel juice can be substituted for water.
Foaming Baths and Shampoos Recipe:
Add 5-10% of clays to the product. Simply sprinkle the clay in, allowing it to settle. Always shake before use as the Clay sinks to the bottom.

Rating: New at soapmaking! I love this pink clay in my MP soap! It colors my shea butter MP soap a beautiful pink and leaves our hands/skin softer! Very gentle on the skin. Doesn't bring out the lather of soap. Very soft to the touch and has no odor!
Rating: I've used this in a beauty bar and as a face mask and have amazing reviews from my customers!

Rating: I absolutely love this pink clay! Great for powders. I am disappointed that ND does not sell in smaller quantities. Although I sell wholesale, this product I use only for myself and a couple of friends and you only need a little bit.
Rating: I chose this Pink clay because it is best for those who have sensitive or dry skin. I add glycerin and floral water into the clay and mix with a gentle cleansing facial mask. I also use it in my soap making, and the color turns to pinkish rose. Love this clay!

Rating: I have used this on my face and body with a couple of drops of argan oil in it and it has made my skin so soft and smooth. It is not at all drying on my dry skin.
Rating: This fine clay makes the best mask of course, it also colors my creams and soaps beautifully and I use it as a blush and lip tint,

Rating: LOVE this clay! It leaves my skin so soft, and pores minimized but not tight. The only thing I don't like it that it does stain your skin a little pink. You really gotta scrub it off. I used toner over my face twice and was still getting lots of pink coming off.
Rating: I added floral water to this clay and used it as a mask for my face and back. It left my sensitive and dry skin feeling extremely soft and moisturized. I would definitely recommend this product!

Rating: I have used the French Clay several times, as it is a favorite amongst many of my facial clients.
I use it on almost any skin type with a wide variety of skin ailments, especially my acne prone clientelle. They love the soothing and tightening effect the clay has as a mud mask. Acne has been cleared up approximately 30% in a 1st treatment on many of my younger clients. It is easy to mix into a facial paste, easy to apply and quite easy to remove.
I reccommend this clay! Two thumbs up from me and my client base.
Rating: More moisturizing than french green clay, this clay is a good one for combination skin.

Rating: I use this clay primarily for the light peach/pink colour it gives to CP soap, but it also adds a nice silky glide to the finished bar. Great for shaving soap.

Rating: I used the pink clay for my soaps and masks. This is a easy to use product. Mixed with a floral water it constitutes an efficient mask. It closes the pores, deeply cleanes and tones. Your skin looks fresh and clear.
