Description: Camelina Carrier oil is derived from the seeds of the Camelina sativa plant (also known as 'gold of pleasure'), a cherished oilseed crop that is cultivated in North America (including Canada and the United States) as well as regions within Central Europe. Camelina is a small annual shrub with small pale yellow or greenish-yellow flowers. Camelina Carrier oil is reputed for being an excellent source of Vitamin E, Omega‐3 Fatty Acids, and other Poly- and Mono-Unsaturated Fatty Acids, and is widely used in skin and hair care preparations. Used topically, Camelina Carrier oil is a rich emollient that is ideal for massages to help promote luminous, moisturized, and healthy-looking skin. It is also known for its soothing and hydrating effects on the scalp, and may be helpful for dry scalp conditions.
Color: Bright golden yellow, liquid.
Aromatic Description: Light cruciferous odor.
Common Uses: Camelina Carrier oil is gentle enough to be applied directly to the skin, scalp, and hair strands. It can be incorporated within massage oils or other essential oil blends meant for topical applications. Camelina Carrier oil can also be used in moisturizing formulations for the creation of premium, natural skincare and haircare products.
Consistency: Lighter than the typical carrier oils.
Absorption: Medium absorbency leaving a slightly oily feel on the skin.
Shelf Life: Users can expect a shelf life of 2 years with proper storage conditions (cool, out of direct sunlight). Refrigeration after opening is recommended.

Storage: It is recommended that cold-pressed carrier oils be kept in a cool, dark place to maintain freshness and achieve maximum shelf life. If refrigerated, bring to room temperature before using.
