Avocado Butter is designed for topical use, and is formulated with 100% pure, ultra-refined Avocado Oil for its fatty acids. Added non-GMO Soy Butter affords an odorless white base that is soft but rich, and melts quickly on contact with the skin.
Aromatic Description: Mild to no scent.
Common Uses: Avocado Oil is popular for the hydration of dry, mature skin, and hair. This product is soft at room temperature and slowly melts on contact with the skin, and may be used from 3% in a product to 100% as a body balm. Especially helpful to nails and cuticles, it may be used to enhance the emollience of a variety of formulations including lotions, creams, after-sun products, conditioners, body butters, luxury soaps, baby-care products and lip balms.
When adding a butter to creams and lotions, it might be necessary to gently warm it until melted or very soft in texture, and can be incorporated into the final product. Using a hand blender, create a vortex with your cream or lotion and drizzle in your melted butter until fully incorporated and consistently smooth. For addition in soaps, the general rule of thumb is one tablespoon per pound (15 ml/500 g). As with most raw materials, results may vary, so we strongly recommend small, lab-scale batches prior to any commercial manufacturing.
Recommended Storage: Please note that this butter should ideally be stored in a refrigerator to maintain its texture. It will become soft in warmer temperatures.
Shelf Life: Store in cool temperatures (below 25 °C) away from light and moisture in an air-tight container. The product will become liquid above ambient temperatures (e.g., 36 °C), but will re-solidify upon cooling without affecting functionality. This butter has a shelf-life of one year when stored properly.

Rating: Super rich, and fast aborbing. Already the perfect texture to apply to your face and body, no melting required. BUT I hate the smell, I never really smelled an avocado. But it's kind of meaty (for lack of a better description. And blending it with essential oils didn't make it go away.

Rating: Very nice! I was looking forward in finding out how it would feel straight out of the jar. I like the fact that it is solid at room temperature that easily comes out of the jar BUT the only thing is --- I wish it didn`t have such a grainy feel to it.

Rating: PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE get more stock of Avacodo Butter....I love this product...recently I decided (stupidly) to wax my own bikini area (ya ouch)...long story short won't do it again but afterwards grabbed the remanants of my avacado butter and rubbed it on to my burning (bleeding) skin..instantly the burning pain was gone and the wax residue disappeared...not only that but my skin felt absolutely amazing afterwards....HAHA found new use for product the hard way :) I have to get more ASAP...might even brave the waxing again knowing I will have those end results....LOVE you ALL at NEW DIRECTIONS!!!! Keep up the fantasic job!!!!!
Rating: Extremely light and silky smooth butter. The smell is really unique. It's not what I would describe as an avocado smell. Great butter. I just wish this wasn't hydrogenated!
