Aloe Butter is a rich blend of Aloe and non-GMO Soy Butter for an odorless white butter that is soft, with a rich viscosity and smooth texture that melts quickly on contact with the skin.
Aromatic Description: Mild to no scent.
Common Uses: This butter is perfect for lotions, creams, and body butters. Especially designed to enhance formulations for normal-to-dry skin, its creamy texture enables it to be used as is by those with very dry or sensitive skin.
When adding butters to creams and lotions, it might be necessary to gently warm them until the texture is soft enough to be incorporated into the final product. Using a hand blender, create a vortex with your cream or lotion and drizzle your melted butter to fully incorporate. For addition in soaps, the general rule of thumb is 1 tablespoon per pound. As with most raw materials, results may vary, so we strongly recommend small, lab scale batches prior to any commercial manufacturing.
Recommended Storage: Please note that this butter should ideally be stored in a refrigerator to maintain its texture. It will become soft in warmer temperatures.
Shelf Life: Store in cool temperatures (below 25 °C) away from light and moisture in an air-tight container. The product will become liquid above ambient temperatures (e.g., 36 °C), but will re-solidify upon cooling without affecting functionality. This butter has a shelf-life of 18 months when stored properly.
Caution: For external use only; a skin test is recommended prior to use.

Rating: I love the all the butters. I use this with a few other ingredients and make an amazing healing cream. It is probably one of my best selling products. The aloe is so soothing and healing to skin. Adding essential oils with skin benefits people with all sorts of skin issues are great results. Eczema dry cracked heals rashes burns etc.

Rating: The Aloe Butter I received has a nice texture and feels lovely on the skin. I whipped some and added a few EOs and it makes a nice night cream.
I've been making a lovely Aloe Vera Cream for my brother and nice who find the Alberta winters very harsh on the hands. I'm anxious to try something much simpler using this Aloe Butter as the base.

Rating: I find that it has the vegetable oil scent after only 1/2 hour and it feels thick and greasy on skin.
Rating: I hate this new formulation. It is partly my own fault as I should have read the MSDS before ordering to see the "new formulation" ingredients. But I also don't like the consistency. It would be fine if you plan to use it "as is,"
I honestly don't know what the old formulation is, but I'm unimpressed with the addition of hydrogenated vegetable oil. Really? I have to have a crap ingredient like that in my aloe butter? Not only do I not want that on my skin, I don't want to write that on my labels AND I have know way of know "which" oils are hydrogenated. Likely soybean and canola though.
Secondly, the consistency is so "whipped" already that it does not lend any hardness if you are trying to make your own body butters and want to add other liquid oils or fragrance, it will be too soft. It's already very soft, so you'd have to add more shea or something solid as this doesn't arrive as solid as simply coconut oil infused with aloe.
Again, it's nice if you're going to use 'as is' but don't be thinking you're going to add anything liquid without adding something else to stiffen it. I would have only given it one start but for the fact, I suppose, for what it is... it's nice. Though I wouldn't know why you would buy it to use as is.
Rating: This butter is very creamy and light. It feels amazing on the skin. I now incorporate this butter in to most of my formulations.

Rating: Love this! I was not sure what to expect when I bought this product as I've never dealt with aloe (beyond the junk you buy at the local drugstore). No real smell, ultra rich moisture and the consistency is perfect. I'm using this as a straight cream for my baby!

Rating: I created a moisturizing cold process soap recipe with aloe butter as one of the ingredients and loved the results. The soap comes out of the 3D molds easily and with a nice sheen. Love it!

Rating: This is lovely. It dissolves as it hits your skin, and spreads easily. It also feels quite light, and doesn't leave your skin feeling sticky or tacky, even just a few seconds after application. I also like that there is almost no scent.

Rating: Another wonderful product from NDA. A great butter to use as is, or to blend with other butters for perfect lip balms. I have also used this as a base for heel balms. Lends "weight" to lotions without leaving the skin too greasy. I will be re-ordering.
Rating: This butter absorbs very well, almost like hemp. I like to use it with shea and other greasier butter to cut the oily feeling.

Rating: So amazing! I love this butter, it is smooth and soothing, I have been using it for everything. The smell is minimal so it mixes well with EO's. my only suggestion is to mix it with a much harder butter if you want to make a body butter. I am so glad I purchased it!

Rating: Five stars for this butter. There's everything good about the batch I received. It's harder than I thought it would be but it melts on contact -- this all by itself is a great lip balm or ANY balm. The backs of my hands always get the first test of any product and they are really smooth right now. My purchase today was aloe and olive butter and they both get the same review: five stars, fragrance-free, smooth, easy to work with, will DEFINITELY purchase again.
Rating: Lovely, soothing butter! Shortly after I received my butter, I had a nasty head cold, with a nose that just would not stop running...the result a very sore, red nose! Wiped a little aloe butter on the redness and instantly felt relief. Would order this again just for the cold and flu season!!
Rating: This butter is very hard at room temperature, but melts rapidly in your hands. Very moisturizing! I prefer this butter over shea as is has no noticeable scent, you do not need to use as much EO/fragrance to scent it. It is light, absorbs into the skin and does not leave a greasy feeling.
Rating: truly amazing - a water-based ingredient that behaves like an oil! I'm using it to create a whipped shea & aloe butter blend to help with my mom's surgical scar healing and my dad's cracked hands.
Rating: I love this butter. I used it in lotion bars and my customers were amazed to see that such a product exists... This is a butter that I will buy again.

Rating: I finally purchases this Aloe Butter and I am very please with its quality. I simply melt it together with SheaButter then add Olive Extra Virgin Oil and Vitmain E. It amazingly remove my winter dry skin in just one application. I added Orange Fragrant Oil for a delicious scent Homemade AloeShes Body Butter.
