Botanical Name: Citrus aurantium amara

Description: Neroli Essential Oil is derived from the blossoms of either the sweet orange tree or the bitter orange tree. Our variety comes from the bitter orange tree which is viewed within the aromatherapy world as being of higher therapeutic quality.
Color: Dark greenish yellow liquid.
Common Uses: Neroli Essential Oil increases circulation and stimulates new cell growth. It can prevent scarring and stretch marks, and has been found useful in treating skin conditions linked to emotional stress. Any type of skin can benefit from this oil, although it is particularly good for dry, irritated or sensitive skin. It regulates oiliness and minimizes enlarged pores. Neroli Oil helps to clear acne and blemished skin, especially if the skin lacks moisture. With regular treatment, it can reduce the appearance of fragile or broken capillaries and varicose veins. Other properties include being antidepressant, antiseptic, antispasmodic, aphrodisiac, carminative, cordial, deodorant, digestive, stimulant (nervous) and tonic (cardiac, circulatory).

Blends well with: Lavender, Lemon, Clary Sage, Myrrh and spice oils such as Nutmeg, Cinnamon Bark and Clove Bud.
Aromatic Scent: Neroli Essential Oil has a sweet, floral citrus aroma. Many aromatherapists refer to Neroli as an exotic and exquisite essential oil.
History: Though Bitter Orange Essential Oil has been around for centuries, Neroli Essential Oil wasn’t discovered until the seventeenth century. It was named after Anna Maria de la Tremoille, princess of Nerola. The oils properties were extremely valued by the people of Venice who used it against plague and fevers.
Cautions: This oil is non-toxic and non-sensitizing. Avoid use during pregnancy.

This Neroli Dilution is the first and the last solution for any skin issues from acne to psoriasis. It is very soothing , warming and calming at the same time. I was ready to give this Neroli dilution the highest praise every until it went out of stock . It has now come back at twice the price which makes it non competitive even with pure Neroli oil which is very pricy. It seems to me that the price increase is mainly due to Jojoba carrier oil price skyrocketing in recent months which makes me question if maybe switching to another more affordable carrier oil would be more suited. I've tried Neroli with other carrier oils like grapeseed and sweet almond and they work just as well. Certainly if the point of dilution is to make it affordable to try , then the barrier shouldn't be the carrier oil. For someone like me who wanted to continue using this dilution for the skin health, this price increase makes in unaffordable in the long term. I thought I found a solution for my lingering skin problems and now I am not sure what to do.

I bought this forgetting I had a 5mL of 20% in Jojoba oil from a different company, but for the price of the 15mL bottle whatever right. Well smelling the 2 there is a significant difference! The ND 3% is much nicer, lighter and cleaner smelling than the 20%! I paid 4x the price for 1/3 the quantity and the quality overall definitely favors ND's oil. I find that even tho there 20% in the other oil it's the Jojoba you smell more. I am very pleased with my mistake and have found a new Neroli oil for my cabinet! I would love to smell what a 20% ND Neroli would smell like!
