FEATURES AND BENEFITS
The Deep Detox: French Clay – Green is celebrated for its exceptional absorption power. It draws out impurities, excess oil, and buildup while refining texture, tightening pores, and promoting a visibly clearer, more toned complexion — ideal for oily or congested skin.
Powerful Mineral Blend: Naturally rich in Aluminum, Iron, Calcium, Magnesium, Silica, Sodium, Potassium, and Titanium, this mineral-charged clay helps balance, refresh, and restore vitality for a fresh reset feel.
Naturally Green: Its signature color comes from iron oxides and plant matter such as kelp and algae. These natural elements infuse the clay with nutrients that promote renewal and radiance.
Purify and Polish: As it dries, French Clay – Green gently firms the skin’s surface, minimizing the look of pores and leaving skin feeling fresh, smooth, and refined.
Vibrant yet Versatile: This fine, silky powder disperses effortlessly into formulations, adding natural color, body, and a soft texture to soaps, scrubs, bath products, and other skin care products. Pairs beautifully with matcha or aloe vera for spa-bright blends.
Skin and Scalp Balance: Beyond skin care, French Clay – Green also revitalizes the scalp, helping to remove buildup, balance oil production, and leave hair feeling clean, light, and refreshed.
DESCRIPTION
French Clay – Green is one of the most popular natural clays in French skin care for deep-cleansing and revitalizing properties. Sourced from ancient marine beds, its unique mineral composition — rich in aluminum, calcium, iron, magnesium, potassium, silica, sodium, and titanium — gives both its signature color and skin-purifying power.
Prepared using traditional methods, the clay is sun-dried, crushed, and finely milled to preserve its silky texture and active mineral content. When applied as a mask or body wrap, the clay works to absorb excess oil and impurities while tightening and toning the skin, leaving it feeling refreshed and balanced.
Renowned for its clarifying benefits, French Clay – Green is ideal for oily, congested, or blemish-prone skin, gently exfoliating dull surface cells to promote a smoother texture and healthy glow. It can also be used in soaps, mineral baths, or spa treatments to restore the skin’s natural equilibrium and enhance a sense of overall well-being.
DIRECTIONS & SUGGESTED USAGE
- Purifying Face Mask: Combine 1 tablespoon (15 mL) of French Clay – Green with 2 tablespoons (30 mL) of water to form a smooth paste. For added benefits, substitute water with Floral Water, Aloe Vera Juice, or Green Tea. Apply evenly to clean skin, avoiding the eye area. Leave on for 10 minutes, then rinse with warm water.
-
Total Body Refresh: Blend French Clay – Green with warm water or hydrosol to a creamy consistency. Apply to the body for 15–20 minutes to tone and invigorate or mix with fine salts and carrier oils for an exfoliating body scrub.
- Roots Refresh: Blend with water or Aloe Vera Juice to create a clarifying hair and scalp mask. Apply to the roots, leave on for 5–10 minutes, then rinse thoroughly to remove buildup and refresh the scalp.
- Custom Creations: Use as a mineral-rich base in soaps, mud masks, cleansers, or bath products. Layer with botanical extracts or matcha powder for an energizing green-clay ritual.
- Formulation Notes: Use French Clay – Green at 5–100% in skin care products, or 1 tablespoon (15 mL) per lb (500 g) of soap. Perform a patch test before use and avoid overuse on very dry or sensitive skin.
