Fruit

The fruit of a plant is the edible growth that is typically sweet and fleshy. After a plant flower, fruit is formed from its ovary, and the fruit contains fertilized seeds from which new plants can grow. Aside from citrus fruit seeds, it is not possible to extract essential oils from most fruit seeds.
