This oil smells disgusting. I literally got nauseated every time I opened the bottle. That aside, it is super moisturizing and makes my butters very creamy. It also gave them a nice yellowish color which is fine because I don't use artificial colors in my products.

The smell of this oil made me a little hesitated. Even with only 1% or 2% dilution, the scent overpowered the other carrier oil. Higher concentration of essential oil or stronger essential oil need to be used to cover up the musky scent. If used in cream or lotion, the colour of the lotion would turn mustard-like yellowish colour. I'd like to go without it if I need to put the cream in a clear glass bottle. Overall, I love the conditioning properties of this oil.

I really enjoy this oil, works great in my homemade sunscreen. I find the smell extremely off putting, but some EOs fixed that. Be warned that this oil is EXTREMELY comedogenic, so don't use it on your face - I learned the hard way!

This is a healing oil, great for the skin and hair, the only downside is the overpowering smell.

Added this oil to a whipped shea body butter. Makes skin wonderfully smooth and moisturized ( if you don't mind a little bit of a greasy feel ). Smell is a little overpowering for body butter though. Think it will be better suited to the CP soap.

Truly fresh! We've added wheatgerm oil to our soaps with wonderful results. Absorbs very well in facial application too. Highly recommended.

Wheat germ oil is great to added on Skin care & Body product ! When I make a soap, I add 5%of Wheat germ oil to extend soap shelf life ! You don't really need to put grapefruit seed extract for soap. I use grapeseed extract as natural preservative in my cosmetic only. I add wheat germ and Vitamin E together as natural preservative for my soap and it lasts for year good condition and if you keep them in cool place and out of sun, you can expect more than a year good condition! it's really up to you how you keep your soap properly. Also, great to make cuticle oil with it ! Combine jojoba, Sweat almond oil, wheat germ, rice bran and few drops of essential oil make great cuticle oil !! (I used to put neroli and geranium) Absolutely loveing all of your carrier oil !!
