Ground Walnut Husk is a very popular grain when making natural exfoliating scrubs. It is finely grounded, making it an ideal additive to face, foot and body scrubs. It polishes away dry and dead skin cells revealing skin that is smooth, soft and refreshed.

Shelf Life: If stored in a cool, dry place away from moisture, Walnut Husk can last indefinitely.

Peppermint Foot Scrub Recipe:
In a bowl, combine 1/2 cup walnut husk, 1/3 cup vegetable oil, 1 tbsp liquid organic soap and 6 drops of peppermint essential oil. Soak your feet first if desired, gently scrub until smooth and wash thoroughly after.

This worked perfectly in my CP soap. It feels great without being too scratchy and adds to the appearance, I think. I used 2 Tbsp in 5 lbs soap.

I agree, I don't like this for the face. It's too rough and makes my skin quite red. It's great however for a hand and foot scrub.

This is one of my favorite exfoliant, it's a great size for a body scrub but too big for a face scrub. I like to add about 4-6% of Ground Walnut Husk to my sugar scrub for a scrubbier product.

This is a great addition to anything you want to turn into an exfoliant ! I hae added it to my soap bars and my liquid cleansers. Gentle on my sensitive skin ! FABULOUS !
