Our Melt and Pour Organic Soap Base is free from any foam boosters and preservatives. Made from 100% Certified Organic Vegetable Oils, this base contains no alcohol or harmful products to dry your skin!
Glycerin, a natural emollient, draws moisture out of the air to benefit skin health. It cleanses without stripping or upsetting the delicate natural pH balance necessary for soft, healthy skin. And, since we use no heavy animal oils, our soap rinses clean and leaves no soapy film behind. All our soap bases are produced from the highest quality double distilled and deodorized clear coconut oil, forming luxurious lather and sparkling clarity.

Caution: When making soaps it is good to remember that the Melt & Pour Bases contain water as part of the formula. So if they are left exposed to the atmosphere, the water will evaporate and the bar of soap will shrink. We would recommend fully wrapping the ENTIRE soap bar as soon as it is poured and cooled--this should minimize/eliminate any shrinkage.

This is a lovely, well-lathering and long-lasting soap and you can't beat the price! I would have to pay more than twice as much at the health food store to buy the same amount of "natural" soap that still contains questionable ingredients. I feel so relieved not having to put toxic, harsh chemicals on myself and my 3 year old son. This is our soap from now on.

I have been using the organic M&P soap base since it's introduction, and I find it easy to use, long lasting, maintains a lovely colour, holds ingredients in suspension well and takes essential oils and botanicals with no problem. I have started buying and cutting the large blocks and find them very reasonable and easy to cut. The web site is great, easy to navigate and use, and customer service wonderful.

This organic soap is very mild and has a nice lather. Highly recommended for those with very dry skin, it does not leave the skin tight or flaky. I combine this with honey, oatmeal and olive butter.
