This product is manufactured in a certified organic facility using organic ingredients in the United Kingdom. Since it is not NOP/USDA certified, which is the only recognized accreditation in North America we are classifying this product as a non-certified organic product.
Our Melt and Pour Non Certified Organic Soap Base is free from any foam boosters and preservatives. Made from organic vegetable oils, this base contains no alcohol or harmful products to dry your skin!
Glycerin, a natural emollient, draws moisture out of the air to benefit skin health. It cleanses without stripping or upsetting the delicate natural pH balance necessary for soft, healthy skin. And, since we don't use animal oils, our soap rinses clean and leaves no soapy film behind. All our soap bases are produced from the highest quality double distilled and deodorized clear coconut oil, forming luxurious lather and sparkling clarity.
Usage: A two pound brick can make between 10 - 20 soaps, depending on the size of the soap you’re trying to make.

Caution: When making soaps it is good to remember that the Melt & Pour Bases contain water as part of the formula. So if they are left exposed to the atmosphere, the water will evaporate and the bar of soap will shrink. We would recommend fully wrapping the ENTIRE soap bar as soon as it is poured and cooled--this should minimize/eliminate any shrinkage.

This is a lovely, well-lathering and long-lasting soap and you can't beat the price! I would have to pay more than twice as much at the health food store to buy the same amount of "natural" soap that still contains questionable ingredients. I feel so relieved not having to put toxic, harsh chemicals on myself and my 3 year old son. This is our soap from now on.
