Liquid Base is a natural soap base made from saponified organic oils of coconut and sunflower. This base has a mild pH that will not dry out the skin and can be used as a shampoo, body cleanser, hand wash or even as a mild laundry detergent. It provides a nice gentle cleaning action good for individuals with sensitive skin.
Features:
• A true liquid soap
• Contains no surfactants
• Vegetable origin
• Has a clear pale yellow to gold liquid color
• Requires only the addition of fragrance and color
Ingredients:
• Water - 30 to 100%
• Potassium Oleate (Derived from Organic Sunflower Oil) - 10 to 30%
• Potassium Cocoate (Derived from Organic Coconut Oil) - 3 to 10%
• Glycerin (Organic origin) - 3 to 10%
• Potassium Citrate - 0.3 to 1%
• Potassium Palm Kernelate - 0.1% or less
• Palm Kernel Acid - 0.1% or less
Caution: Some essential oils do not mix perfectly with a natural soap base. These may include lemon, lemongrass, clove, eucalyptus, and possibly others. Test carefully when using these oils. Orange oils and other essential oils may leave the mixture and float on top if too much is used. Warm and stir to get them back in. Wait 24 hours to check for separation. Skim excess from top if needed. Any oil-based or water-based herbal ingredient can potentially be used.

This is a great soap with a good later, but not something to buy if you want to add fragrance. It has its own scent that is very nice but rather overpowering and can't really be covered by other fragrances. Mixing in essential oils for the skin care benefits is great, but don't expect to end up with a product that will only smell like what you add to it.

This soap is exactly what I've been looking for in a hand soap. I mix this in a ratio 1:3 soap to water, and use it in a Pumping Foam soap dispenser. I do add a little Lemongrass and Grapefruit to it, and have not have any problems with it at all. Probably because I only add about 15 drops in total and the soap is mixed with water. I LOVE the way it smells and can't stop smelling my hands after cleaning them. Yes... there is a little bit more soap scum... but that may have to do with how much my children play in the sink with the soap. Next time I'm buying the 4 litres as opposed to the 1 litre. I'll be using it also for cleaning my floors, toilets and bathtubs.

I'm not sure how to feel about this one. I love how it feel on my skin and it holds scent beautifully, but is it supposed to go pearly white when you process it as is recommended? If it is, then I love it, but wouldn't I need to add a preservative?

I have used this base for hand soap and hair shampoo with excellent results. We only use NDA essential oils, aloe vera, jojoba and titanium dioxide to whiten.

We were looking for a natural liquid soap to replace the store-bought chemical soap and we thought this was it. To add some fragrance, I scented it with lavender oil and tea tree oil. After only a week of use, it dries out our skin. Further to that, after only one day of use, there is soap scum all over the sink which needs to be wiped down daily. Also, within a few uses through the pump dispenser, the soap coagulates at the opening and has to be constantly cleaned. This soap base was truly disappointing.

This is a great product, I use it for a hand soap. In my kitchen I have it scented with Manuka EO and Clove Bud EO, this is a nice combination. The Keylime EO is also real nice with this soap, very fresh and refreshing. I have found that lavender EO also works well with this product.

I like that this producr is organic and I'm hoping my customers do as well, this product DOES NOT take to FO, it tends to turn to a heavy gel. I know some people had some luck but I did not. I also tried mixing(FO) with other carrier oils but in time (24hrs) it to turned to gel. So I am selling it a scent free and color free, I think that was the point of the whole organic thing anyway.

I really like the ingredient list and feel of this soap, but it has a scent that is very hard to mask. because I had to use so much scent just to make this even slightly yummy, it really gobbled up my fragrances! I have decided to switch bases, but would recommend this to anyone who cares more abou the ingredients and quality than the scent :)

The more people using these types of things the more we can get the word out about what's really in the drugstore. I don't add colour but I do add essential oils... rosemary, peppermint, lavender, nice. A comment for Pam (read below): The soap gellified on me too and I realized if I added less essential oil it wouldn't happen. I add about 45 drops essential oil to 250ml soap. I'm sure it does depend on the types of essential oil so you'll have to try it for yourself.

So far, we've found that bergamot, sweet orange dark, and frankincense do not pose this problem. Also, we tried mixing oils that do turn the soap to gel with a touch of soya bean oil before adding it to the soap. This solved the problem and the soap still lathered very well with no oily residue.

I really like this soap base. I've been looking for something without chemicals and harsh preservatives that I can use as a multipurpose soap and as a shampoo base. This was fantastic. I used a small amount to test as a shampoo and it had an amazing lather and my hair felt moisturized, yet not greasy, which has been my problem with many natural shampoos.

Was very pleased to see that you had changed the packaging format for the 1kg quantity from white HDPE jar to HDPE 1 L botte -- much more convenient.
