Botanical Name: Cannabis sativa

Extraction Method: Cold Pressed

Description: Hempseed Carrier Oil is high in Omega fatty acids and proteins. It is a fantastic cosmetic grade oil due to its nutrients, though the illegal Cannabis association tends to reduce its popularity. It is currently being more readily explored by progressive manufacturers.

Color: Golden yellow liquid to dark brown.

Aromatic Description: Being unrefined, Hempseed Oil has been left in its virgin state after pressing. This oil has not been run through filters or chemical processes, so stronger colors and fragrances should be expected. This is completely natural.

Common Uses: Hempseed Carrier Oil is becoming a popular manufacturing oil, though only through pioneers in the cosmetic field.

Consistency: Typical and Characteristic of Carrier Oils.

Absorption: Absorbs into skin at average speed, slight oil feeling left on skin.

Shelf Life: Users can expect a shelf life of 1 year with proper storage conditions (cool, out of direct sunlight). Refrigeration after opening is recommended.

This oil has a greenish colour and works really well in my hand cream that I make for my husband who has eczema. The earthy smell is slight and pleasant. Great price for a great oil.

Nice, definitely unrefined, oil. Very dark in color. Looks black in the bottle. This is a good thing! Most definitely has a marijuana Mary smell to it. Not *that* heavy, but it's there. I like the smell. Nice and earthy, deep. Have used it on my face tonight to see how well it works just overnight. Will definitely be using quite a bit of this. Glad I ordered a fair bit.

I like using this.. Works great in soaps and in lotion. Very soothing. The scent isn't too bad, a bit of lawn grass mixed with cannibas smell. I don't find it offensive or overwhelming. Very healing.

Hempseed oil is one of my favorite carrier oil from newdirecions. Althogh, it doesn't have a plesant smell, it works amazing !! when my face was so itchy and irritated, nothing really makes my face calming down.. I can't even sleep well for few days, because I felt so each all over my face. At that time, My face look like that I'm suffer from eczema. but i'm not ! Nomally i have beautiful skin. Anyway, I found Hemp oil has powrful anti-inflammatory property so I tried to use Hemp seed oil with few drops of Germanl Chamomile Eseential oil . And after 2days, My skin went back to normal !!! This oil really working great !! I use hemp oil in my soap, my skin care product, lip balm, foot lotion etc... I highly recommend hemp seed oil for someone who suffer from eczema.

I LOVE this oil! Hemp is a great oil that doesn't get the recognition it deserves. I use this to make my hemp soap and people LOVE it!! I also use this for hot oil hair treatments and on my daughter's skin after a sun burn. It's a very nourishing, healing oil imo.
