The Dead Sea is the most saline body of water in the world with far greater concentrations of minerals than any ocean (a concentration of 32% minerals compared to other seas, holding approximately 3%).
Mud from the Dead Sea has a high salt and mineral content, all of which are essential for the body. The mud infuses the skin with minerals leaving it clean, refreshed and hydrated.
Dead Sea mud has the dual purpose of exfoliating as well as being as a natural cleanser. It not only removes toxins and impurities from the skin, but also tightens and tones the skin, improves blood circulation, hydrates the skin and aids in skin regeneration.

A silky, dark grey/green mud. It makes a wonderful mask when mixed with seaweed powder and grapeseed oil. I also use it plain as a spot treatment for pimples, and it seems to help.

After reading everyone else's glowing reviews of the Dead Sea mud, I wanted so badly to like it. I have hormonal, acne-prone, "schizophrenic" skin, and was hoping this would tone down the inflammation and clear it up. This does indeed draw impurities out of the skin, but what I find is, with me, it just dredges up everything to the skin's surface and causes more breakouts. I've tried doing it every day for a week, I've tried doing it every other day, I've tried only doing it once a week, once a month, using it as a spot treatment... I bought the 1kg. jar, and now that I've gone through more than half of it, I really don't think I'd recommend it for problem skin like mine. I'm sure it's a miracle mud for others, but it never really "clears up" acne prone skin the way I hoped it would.

I just got this mask in the mail today and it is AWESOME. It drys prettty fast and my skin was SOOO clean after I used it. I felt like I just came back from the spa. I highly recommend this product. It's hard to find a pure mud that you can use for your face, so I'm glad I found this one!

This is a great product, I use regularly on my underarms.........yes underarms!! I have always have problems with odour and do not wish to use any of the chemical ladden products out there, so I usually put some of this under my arms let it sit for about 10 minutes...so read a magazine for that time, have a nice bath and then wash it right off in the tub. When I use this product at least 3 times per week I have very little problems with odour or bacteria forming in the arm pit area. Great for a facial mask as well!!

Dead Sea Mud is not only great to slather on your body straight, it is wonderful in soap as well. I use about 1 tbsp per pound of oils. Another product i could not be without!

so nice, so smooth! it is definally not just any mud that u can dig out from ur backyard! put mud on ur face doesn't sound romatic to me at all but after the first try, i want to use it everyday! it is super smooth, super comfy! highly recommanded!
