Bioplex NMF (Mimics the skins natural moisturizing factor): Skin becomes dry for two reasons - prolonged exposure to the elements, and due to physical and chemical changes to the skin as the result of aging. This can be avoided by either stopping the loss of water from the skin, or by restoring lost moisture to the layers of the skin. The skin contains natural humectants, the most important being NaPCA (sodium pyrrolidone carboxylic acid). As skin ages, it contains decreasing amounts to a percentage as low as 50. Bioplex is made from an effective combination of moisturizers, proteins and humectants.
INCI: Sodium PCA & Lactic Acid & Sodium Lactate & Urea & Collagen Amino Acids.
Application: Bioplex NMF can be used to make shampoo, conditioner, leave-in, treatment (hair), body wash, body lotion, treatment (body), cleanser, toner, facial moisturizer, treatment (face), makeup foundation and lipstick.
Recommended Use: Bioplex NMF can be easily added during the manufacturing process. The recommended dosage is 1.0 up to 5.0%.

I like this active greatly - it's always included in any of my face or body cream/lotion. Though my skin is close to oily, it is terribly dry in winter, body especially. I have tried plenty of actives that were good though still did not provide a significant moisturizing effect. NMF really does the job.

I Have bought this product selfishly. I have not added it to my skincare line as of yet..but I am enjoying the effects it has made on my skin in my personal cream mixtures. I found it has decreased to look of my large pores and has evened out my skin tone.
