I bought this scent to have a new "manly" scent and I have to say I love it!! It is fresh and earthy and so I named my soap "Rain Forest" Scent is sticking really well too...will keep this in my line.

I have a barber in town who uses my soap with Bamboo and Teak as well as the Bay Rum scent to do his shaves on customers and they have in turn requested to buy it so I get an order of mens soap. Yeah!!

I personally did not like this scent but that is my opinion. My husband did not like this at all. My brother in-laws thought it was weird smelling but could not explain it. Maybe it would be better mixed with another scent. I agree with the other reviewer that it is not really masculine smelling as I had hoped it would.

Smells really good out of the bottle & could definitely be interpreted as a masculine scent. Used it in CP soap @ .5% ppo. After 4 weeks cure found the scent completely changed & much more fruity, but also considerably weaker. Many scents get banged up in CP, so I'm going to try it in HP soap to see if it holds its character better because I would really like to offer this as one of the masculine scents in my line. I have already repurchased so I guess you could say I'm optomistic!

This is a very complex scent. I can't see it being masculine though but I will not argue with the ladies here. They know better than me. To me it smells sweet and not as strong. I put 2 percent in a cream and still had a hard time smelling it. It does smell nice, I only have doubts about the sexy man smell. Try combining Lime/Bergamot and Bay Rum ; Now that is a manly smell.

I was lacking any masculine fragrances, so I got this one. It smells a lot like cologne (in a good way). Will make nice soaps for all the men in the family come Christmas time.

This has a slight floral smell, but is also a little spicy. I found it quite nice, a good masculine smell. Can be blended with Lavender to create a nice sweet balance. Even the name makes it sound perfect for scenting male products!
