Botanical Name: Persea americana

Extraction Method: Cold Pressed

Description: Avocado Carrier Oil contains Vitamins A, B1, B2, D, E, and Beta carotene. It is classified as a monosaturated oil and is best suited for dry skin conditions in topical applications.

Color: Pale yellow to golden yellow liquid.

Aromatic Description: Avocado Carrier Oil has very little scent characteristic of most carrier oils.

Common Uses: Small amounts of Avocado Oil is typically added to other carrier oils in order to enrich protein and vitamin content. It is used predominantly by manufacturers (particularly great in soaps, lotions and creams) and massage therapists.

Consistency: Typical and Characteristic of Carrier Oils.

Absorption: Avocado Carrier Oil will leave a sticky, waxy feel if applied topically to large areas of skin.

Shelf Life: Avocado Carrier Oil is slow to go rancid; users can expect a shelf life of 6 Months to 1 Year with proper storage conditions (cool, out of direct sunlight). Refrigeration after opening is recommended.

Great oil, very refined, which is more suited for skin than hair in my opinion. But didn't realize when I was ordering it is refined. Big difference with unrefined. Would like to see the unrefined avocado oil too.

Wow, this stuff is amazing! It's a great addition to my bath bombs! Last night I was feeling lazy so I just added a little bit of avocado oil, peppermint EO and kaolin clay to the running water while filling the tub... My whole body AND hair have never been softer! It didn't leave a greasy residue on my hair or body. I love it!

Advocado oil is very addicting in a good way. It blends well with other carrior oils I used and didn't leave any residue. I love eating the fruit so, using the oil in my products was a sound decision for me to make. I rank Advocado oil with that of olive oil and it is quoted that advocado has, "more fatty alcohols than any other fruit known to man." in Julie Gabriel's book titled "Green Beauty Guide". Even if you don't like eating the fruit, try it!

I am looking forward to use this pale golden oil with my avocado butter. I think of superfatting my soaps with them. Great oil for a little price ! Cette huile est d'une couleur or pâle. I received this oil last week and was a bit surprised to get a golden color avacado oil. I was expecting to get the unrefined green one because of the other review. Still great price, but perhaps it will be less confusing to specified on the description that this is the refined kind in golden color.
